Thoughts about team size

New public workshop: Architecting for fast, sustainable flow - enabling DevOps and Team Topologies thru architecture. Learn more and enroll.

I’ve written a new article about team size for paying subscribers. It was prompted by a recent LinkedIn post about the infamous “Amazon 2 pizza teams”, a phrase I have difficulty writing without instantly feeling hungry.

In the article I share a few thoughts about team size including:

  • why small teams are (potentially) more productive
  • how to ensure they are productive
  • how to identify obstacles to productivity

I also describe how Team Topologies has superseded the two pizza team concept. It’s also far less distracting.

To learn more please read the article.

Here, BTW, is my first attempt at making Sicilian Pizza.
